As the world keeps spinning, the merry go round
Where is it happening, try underground
Pulling the strings, from so far below
The craziest thing, devolving is known
Over the years, nothing has changed
Old rules and masks, no room for strange
Where to go, for escaping the blues
Row in the boat, follow the clues
So many, times we go
Where nothing, is yet grown
What you’ll find, are your own
Dreams, to be shown
That are laid out and set, crumbs or seeds are left
So many are missing, some say a trap
Detours are shown, each and every step
Mostly are grown, and chopped with an axe
What to do next, no teachers will near
Anything different, nothing but fear
Illusions will pay, more than truth any day
Lessons learned, abandoned are strays

Travel through mountains and cities galore
Finding your place, the past is ignored
So much the same, after a while
Another game, another trial
Sometimes you meet, a brand new friend
Ships in the night, a moment to tend
