The same old thing, a game on the tube
A brand new election, a new set of rules

What happened, to all the old tunes
From years before, taking a step or a leap
Learning to fly, a wolf or a sheep
The guardian transitions
To a mediator, falling asleep
It’s a new day now, everything has changed
So says the clocks, clicking away
Without time to capture
