Death and Dreams

All these dreams of death, that keep rearing their heads
Makes no difference, from the choices that spread
Following snakes, dragons to the end
Your energy is gone
The death of dreams, will be the certain trail
To the cavern, will never fail
The boat is lost, you cannot hail
Or hear the song
It’s growing, when it tries to be new
It’s flowing, when flying blue
It’s knowing, when nothing to lose
It’s all inside of you
Starting off slowly, it gets twisted all around
The dreams that started, with a thundering sound
Bust through the gates, crash to the ground
The dominoes start to fall
The jackals grab, all the matter they can find
When nothing left, go straight for the mind
Getting lost, can’t read the signs
Too scared to even crawl
It’s growing, when it tries to be new
It’s flowing, when flying blue
It’s knowing, when nothing to lose
It’s all inside of you
Death is easy, all you do is take what you want
All flowing downhill, you can walk as you count
To the sea, where the bottom can’t be found
Shackled with an anchor
Pulling you down, off the edge to the deep
No more sight, but the past you keep
No more sound, but the shadows that weep
An ocean full of water
It’s growing, when it tries to be new
It’s flowing, when flying blue
It’s knowing, when nothing to lose
It’s all inside of you
Dreams are hard, can’t even much remember
A clock in shards, no walls make you wander
To make it through, gotta be a little stronger
The Lotus is flying high
Finding the path, one step at a time
Every once in while, in leaps and bounds
Up through the rain, storms and clouds
Or under a tree is fine
