Spiral's End

In this spiral, I seek to remedy
A cure for the calling
Blade to skin, as an answer to your voice
Drenched, myself in questions
Starved for your redemption
Carved, into flesh
And as I open up the door, the sight reflects no martyr
The feeling’s numb, the time is gone
But I remain in silence
Unanswered as my offering expires
Your thirst has known no bounds
The rivers will be dried from all vitality it brought to no avail
Now you read between the lines, and see a different story
One of mourning, one of agony
Now you’re feeding me my lines
Controlling what is left of me
I need the pain to stop, I need an answer for this life
And the bleeding stops unanswered
Yet it never fails, to remind me
I’ve seen the world turn black, here at the spiral’s end
