stain the tarmac with my shame and guilt

the traffic to a halt
magnesia to drown
the fish are swimming down
there is high pressure on my eyes
it seems the goggles were too cheap
it seems I’m swimming in the sea
the fish are feeding off of me
the way the crazy people sing
like swarms across my TV screen
the way they’re keeping me awake
the way they mistake love for hate
