Mental State

We face each day with a numbness
We stand in lines waiting for our turn
As the counter ticks for our doom
Into the hate I’ll walk, uncontrollable and untamed
Loosing myself in the dark, restless and chained
So I wait to die. to bury the burden, to hide it six feet deep
Never to hear the voices screaming
To drown them in my lake of conciousness
The time has come to stab my eyes
