Often forgotten
Are those who paved the way
For the culture

Righteous men

Who raise sons and daughters

On what yall done for them

But we got freedom and a comfortable life
And I know you had your fair share of rough nights

Who inspire their dongsengs to be better
Who didn’t know it
But is naturally a leader, a guide, and a trendsetter
Yall are why they not in gangs
Yall are why they not in pain
Yall are why they don’t waste
Their time & energy on sinful folly ways

Who wasn’t
The man he is today
But is a better man
Than he was yesterday
Knows of his duty
And continues to lead the way
