I imagine a world
Where boys and girls
Live in harmony
But the reality is
Hate reigns
And that’s bizarre to me
I imagine
That heaven can come onto earth
But all I see every day
Is people that are hurt
Imagine
Not being trapped in
A mindset
Where we only value ourselves
If we have money
Imagine
Where the world sees God as good
God as loving
God as funny
Where we don’t start wars
Just so we could benefit from the materials of others
Where we see each other as fellow children of God
And as our fellow sisters and brothers
Where we don’t need to wear rubbers
Cause we be glad if we made an offspring
Where the shunned and outcast are welcomed
Where hate is absence or at least seldom
And where the misunderstood feel like they can sing
Songs of gratitude
Songs of peace
An earth where
There is no presence of
Anger, jealousy, malice, and misery
