Woke up this morning steaming mad
Something was wrong
Though I couldn’t put my finger on it right away
But anyway
Pieces of my life were decidedly bad
So I figured I’d focus on feeling
Pissed off at the people I blame
So I stomped out slammed the door
And found myself out in the street
Where everyone was smiling
And everyone was sweet
And every smile enfuriated me
Beyond belief
Don’t you losers know that we’re all gonna die?

Almost got into at work
Someone said something that pisses me off
Though I can’t remember what it was
Or why it does
But we were separated lucky for that jerk
So all of a sudden there’s nothing to do
And no one to punch
So I stormed into the bathroom
To slap some water on my face
And I looked into the mirror
And I saw that in my place
Was a snarling cornered animal
Both predator and prey
And I heard him as he locked on to my eyes
