Twisting the narrative
Where did equality go?

The world is so blue from an innocence eyes
But the layer of black is evident

Will a lifeguard see?
Will my parents come looking for me?
Or will I be a part of the sea

I’ve always wanted to be happy
This is where I am

Peaceful by the sea
Looking down at the face of death
If I get on my knees to pray
In the sea
Will the sea still take me?
Or will the sea bless my wishes?
