Two poles in the lot
Three spots bled my mind
Four lies, I was blind
One man, one sign
Two lives that I got

I’m tired, I’ve cried
I’ve tried to forgive myself and the ones that left me
Man, I could tell he was trying to test me
I pray my health stays away from deadly
I pray that hell, I never see, don’t let me
If he meant me well, then why the hell would he press me?
What’d I never tell, I do my best at forgetting
I used to think I ain’t deserve to be saved
I had done some things I never wanted to say
I would try to drink sometimes and numb the pain
And it would never work, so I’m just stuck in my ways
Now, I find pleasure in hurt, God, I’m a man of my word
Know I’ma sinner since birth
But, I don’t sin in the church
I love my sister, it hurts to know she seen me at worst
To see me down that bad, at least it wasn’t a hearse
And as my momma said, I been had truth in my heart
