Inhuman Lacerations

Beaten as a helpless child
Tortures that were cruel and vile
A broken ankle, a lucky escape
But these traumas would seal her fate
An orphan haunted by dreadful nightmares
Misdiagnosed, left solemn and scared
People she saw in that torture facility
Run rampant and plague her dreams
Her hallucinated horrors
Cause her to carve up her arms more
Self-inflicted lacerations
Repeated mental abrasions
Captured and beaten as she nears her grave
Her mind, empty, she is now their slave
Strapped into a monstrous machine
The surgeon sharpens his knives
Our martyr, who now sees worlds in between
Is flayed alive
