Pointed Fingers

I was so set up by those who pointed fingers
Crossed forever doubled, perjury that lingers
Forced the point for hours, some subversive action
I was made to squander all my precious freedom
I checked the line’s voltage — still the same
I scoured the walls for conductive paint
I scanned the bands — no signal radiates
But they still know every move I make
Talks of wiretapping distressing in nature
I found all the traces hidden under painted
Walls that had confined me, now just past persuasion
I was so set up by those who pointed fingers
Now I know who’s listening, they are all just faces

Now they think I’m talking, they are all just nameless
