Same Posture

a pair of eyes that I could recognize I did try
everything I had learned but I wasn’t surprised
that it was just some misunderstanding
All my illusions were pointless and also befouled
I was so obsessed with the posture I’d found
mesmerized but I can’t seem to understand why
all I saw was that pastoral posture
I only saw all those spears and those swords and those cries
I could not sympathize nor did I even try
still I could not forget all those bearded men
