Bleeding Sails

He took a look upon his head,
the clouds in the sky were getting black and red,
his skin gets crawled and his pupils dilated
The prevailing atmosphere
awaits as fatal end of a tale,
he ordered his men to set sails against the wind
Blind movements, blind faith,
they obeyed fast while the tempest
blew on his face,
cold hands tied ropes in vain
Fighting for a lost cause
all of them knew their destiny,
all of them knew that death awaited,
they gasped as swells swing
Thirteen brave sailors
that would give their lives for his captain,
dying at sea in this ship,
his pride was torn into tears
Standing upright, excited and raged
He decided to stay there
to die there with an empty stare,
