Weary Dream Traveler

I can’t take this anymore, living in these chains I wear
Everyone staying to lore, all I want to do is tear
And go somewhere new, where I just can eat, sleep, and think
Maybe a swim, run, play on the beach with a nice cool drink
But no, it’s foggy and cold, and windy here today
Nobody going outside, to run and play
No one to talk to, when out for a walk
No one to drink with, for the final yards
I still keep going though, as it’s the only thing I know how to do
And there’s no way I’ll return, from what I’ve been through
Like going past the halfway point, only hope a new horizon
Past the mirages, broken down castles, and desolate islands
It’s a weary road the path we take
Living the moment, the rest to forsake
Plans are useless, for the brand new scene
Changes are endless, in your land of dreams
