Broken

Somehow I lost it I lost it out at sea
Couldn’t see the shore line couldn’t feel my feet
But a hand it held me there where I could see a guiding light
Burning holes in my eyes, the reflection caught me right
When I pulled up to the shoreline, all foggy gray and blue
I felt like walking on water, I felt like running to you
On beach is a bit harder, it grabs you by the toes
I’ve gone so much farther, than I ever thought I’d go

Sleep in her eyes, so sweet, she shines, the light I adore
