mind needs unwinding. what are you hiding?
under your bed lies a box filled with stories
to be unfurled at the end of each day.
bed’s getting warmer, we’ve been here for hours.
night carries on but we still search for answers,
our pinkie fingers twirled into each other.
don’t mind me asking, why are we dreaming?
maybe the truth is the sand in the ocean
