the souvenirs from our last good year
are inside the tv box taped away beneath the sheets.
i tried to veer away from every single tear
and i promised i’d change how i feel, and disappear.
but it’s all the same… and nothing ever changes and

it’s been 2 years and i’ve had no other plans
so it’s time to rethink what i’m doing all these days.

we just sit very still, unmindful of possibilities.
