Every day I see
Faces of the deceased
The past still haunts me
A clouded history
Painted before me
Colors that still bleed
We all play our part
Blackens my soul to know that I
Help every day institutionalize
And benefit while I decry
Naïveté threatens all of our lives
Stop and listen closely
Turn on any TV
Built into everything
In school it’s what we’re learning
White washing keeps it turning
The victor’s rewording
It never ends
We do as we are asigned
