The War on Men

I want you to know
That I feel sorry for you
And I really understand how hard it is for you now
To be a privileged white man
Not able to understand
Why you’re feeling so threatened
When all your life you’ve felt safe
With women being in their place
I know your brain’s feeling a little overburdened
And I’m scared
That these boys will
Never learn to hunt, never learn to fish, never learn how to fight
It’s not fair
To deny them
Of their basic human rights to be the man they’re told to be
I’m scared for our national security
