I’ve always
Felt so jaded about this city
The biggest small town
In our small country
But my attitude towards Auckland is never constant
I thought that I would feel huge changes with the distance
Going away and growing up made all the difference
No longer feeling we are here out of reluctance
Too close to home
No adventure
It’s divided
Communities pushed to compass points
But I guess
I can be proud of something flawed
