The snow fell like a hush falls on the classroom
And the neighbors I met under the shrouded moon
Only nodded and smiled
None of us wanted to disturb her
First snow
Essence of gracefulness, effortless
Turns my lashes to angel’s wings
Sprinkling me with fairy dust
I was born under this magic stuff
Loved it ever since

Holy choir of silence
Blessing us with restfulness
Rounding down all our sharp edges

Cover us at last
