Old Enough to Know

All’s set for your story but it’s too late by the morning,
It’s not like you’d worry it’s not like you’d care,
It’s leaving me blinded, closed and single minded,
Now it’s harder to find it, if you’re in a hard and desperate way,
And I hope and I pray that you’ll make it someday, nothing left to give away,
And I know that but it’s hard to be tough,
Old enough to know the difference and young enough to care,
I’m leaving something behind me, 'cause it’s easier to fear what binds me,
Not feeling somethings just as cold as something, it’s a mark that you wear,
Theres a sliding glass window, that I’m leaving closed 'cause I’m laying low,
Now I feel like I’m slippin', so I’m better off alone,
