I saw the devil in the woods when I was a child
Alone on a path of pale whispering trees
Then it appeared as a mirror

The sun felt cold beneath their shadows
Creeping in beside me
Paralytic disruption
Manifestations exit through the eyes
As a projection
That will inhabit a reflection
