My sleep is tortured
Over wasted time
Drunken daze
And blind drugged haze
Icebound in the rime
What’s lost is gone
Never to return
Lost my ways in a crystal maze
Feel the Ice; it burns
Frost bites deeply
And soon a hunger grows
Ignore the loss
And don’t count the cost
Ends no one knows
Eyes frozen open
Greet another day
Each line to bind
And freeze my mind
Speed me on my way
Waking world is hollow
The want knows no end
Hungry cries and a web of lies
Take my mind to rend
Nothing that I wanted
Well, it came to pass
Pay the price — roll the dice
