I think I hear rain and it’s scary
Causin me pain something like nightmarey
Messin up my brain something legendary
If it gets any louder I might need you to hold me til it passes to leave
I feel the rain now, I feel the rain now
Wash away the fears holdin me down
I feel it pourin down, I feel it comin down
Wash away cowardice and pride holding me down
Most others find comfort when, droplets of water hit the walls they’re within
But not me, not me, not me, not me

Maybe I feel it’s a warning
A siren of sorts foreshadowing
Oh the dangerous instabilities
Within me I’m afraid for when it’s storming
Most others find comfort when, droplets of water hit the walls they’re within

It might be a tale from the sky, one of struggle to sizzle through a fire
And it’s supposed to end beautifully, and bright
