Go see my mother on the seventh floor
Another night in psychiatric ward
Visiting hours from six to eight
Never thought it’d turn into a date
I saw a girl with her back in a chair
Didn’t see me stare
Her wristband read that she was age twenty-three
With no apparent drug allergies
They took her back to a room with no view
Left with no one; now I visit two
