Who’s the sad pale sinner
In this picture of my past?
I look lost and thinner
Like the shadow that I cast
What could ever reach me?
What could ever lead me?
What could ever teach me
How to realise:
I was hate, I was sleeping consciousness
I was cool but that made my emptiness
Rise as the pain inside
I was stone for the wall I built inside
I was blown by the pure insight that I fight
Against my life
Where’s the world I live in
In this picture in my hand?
Did I just start living
In a self made promise land?
What could ever change me?
What could rearrange me?
What could make the strange me
Give up this fight?
