Shouldn’t I do something about
The road I’m on
Try to turn around
I don’t know that I want to
But maybe I ought to

Fear only makes itself

At certain moments of clarity
That stop me feeling detached — where I’m almost carefree
Stop the noise in my head
Shock the numbness out of me — out of me
I’m half in love with leaving
