Return to it to make it to meaning
Something to look forward to
Needing someone not to depend on
But something to anchor to
Why you feeling so foolish?
Not remembering your walk home
Stay in bed too long
Sink into a shame you know is wrong
Stop trying to convince me off of the ledge
I’m afraid to fall like the rest
This burning building is too much for me
Don’t think me foolish
Step forward with the past
