Socks, socks, one by one
Puttin' on your socks can be so fun
Red socks, blue socks, pink socks, white
First your left sock, then your right
Socks on your feet, make your feet warm
Make your feet happy 'cause they got somethin' on them

There’s all kinda pants for all kinda legs
Put one in the one side, one in the other
Take it from me, listen to your mother
Put your feet in the top and poke 'em out the bottom
When you see 'em stickin' out, that’s when you know you got it
Pull 'em up, up, up so they don’t fall down
You want 'em on your legs, you don’t want 'em on the ground

T-shirt, sweatshirt, any kinda shirt
Not too loose but not too tight
When you can’t see your belly then you know you got it right
Put your arms through the small holes, head through the top
Do it real good, you might get a lollipop
You’re almost done, you’re lookin' real nice
Just one more thing but it’s slippin' my mind
Shoes, shoes, I almost forgot
They go on the bottom, they don’t go on the top
They cover your feet, they cover your socks
Dad’ll tie 'em tight so they don’t fall off
Playin' in the backyard, climbin' up a tree
One is not enough and you can’t wear three

You can’t get dressed if you don’t wear shoes

There’s just two little bitty teenie weenie things left
If it’s cold outside and your cheeks get red
Better put on a coat and a hat on your head
