I been feeling suicidal
If I do, I die all because of this thing between you and I
Who am I? I’m a single father because I forfeited the the role of a spouse
Due to the fact I cannot control my mouth
I started out gospel rapping but was too preachy
My intentions were great, but the message wasn’t reaching
The people of the city, so I dumbed it down a little
Eggs all in one basket hoping I could triple my ideals of success
But I met her, breathless
Invited her to my show, put her on the guest list
Body like Texas, we’re flirting, we’re texting
The only thing left is to leave my wife--exit
She’s worth it, I’m far from perfect, that’s for certain
And my wife don’t see how making music is equal to working
Fast forward, now all I have is this wicked tongue
A tattered soul and a pair of lucifer lungs
It’s Friday and tonight I have a gig
Unfortunately it’s the weekend, it’s my turn to have the kids
I can’t do it--watch the kids, that is

In reality, they hold me back, I’m doing a show regardless
I gave away my heart to my new girlfriend, I’m heartless
Hateful words were exchanged like currency
And currently my wife doesn’t want a divorce
And deep down it’s hurting me
I can’t stand her, so glad I’m up and out, I’m leaving 'em
Took all my things and moved in with the girl I cheated with
Then we broke up, more things went off course
And God don’t answer my prayers no more
