I, I’m alive
This skin through which I feel
is how I survive
Thoughts, these are the strangest things
I think it so its true at least that
what my head sings
But I can’t change any part of you…
I’m what my mother said, I’m a lesson learned
I’m what my daddy did, I’ve been overturned
I’m so afraid of the truth I’ve yet to tell
I’m what you’re thinking, you may think I must be doing well
You had to see
I was too small to walk that road
Couldn’t you come with me?
Oh, it was to hard for you
So you closed me out,
and that i learned to do.
But I will change this part of me

And through darkness, I see the lies you told
