My Hood

Out of touch
Pure disgust
Nothin' much
Just stayin' out of touch
And now I’m in the hood
And things are like they should
If only I could
If I could bring you to my hood
A sudden breeze
Brought some ease
A sneaky peace
Well, some speed at least
Clouds are gone
The dream lives on
The doubts are gone
This place is where I’m from
