So what’s the point of thinking deep
I bite my nails and I’m losing sleep
Goes round and round and will never halt
It’s all gone wrong and it’s all my fault
I used the sugar when I needed salt
Things ain’t cooking for me, as you see
I need a laugh so I take a drink
Ain’t it strange how they start to shrink
I swig a river and I cry a lake

I wanted tremor but I got earthquake
Things ain’t going my way, not today
I’m sitting on a one way train

There goes anxiety my favorite station
And here comes panic and palpitation
I get frustrated 'cos I need a break
But when it comes along you know I’ll take
I’ve never eaten from the hand of fate
It’s all gone wrong but it’s not too late
I needed love but all I got was hate

He shook his head and said «the futures bleak»
It’s getting worse and I ain’t hit my peak
