Peaceful Land

Take me down to that peaceful land
Through the coconut trees to the watery sand
Where the monkeys play and the guns don’t bang
And I’ll fall alseep ‘for you count to ten
Take me down to the clean blue seas
To the quiet shade of a dreamy beach
Fly me up to the ones above
And take me down to the ones I love
Paradise was in disguise
With the lemonade and yellow waves
Birds flew free and and stars shined bright
There where no lies and there was light
Take me where I can get some rest
This world it seems just moves too fast
Come with me and we’ll fly away
You know I’m waiting for the day
Lazy skies had all turned white
The night was filled with satellites
And as I held you next to me
The world outside didn’t mean a thing
