Every other day another bill to pay
Every other day the last one
And now I’m sitting all alone with the pouring rain
Blue skies gone and booked a week in the sun
Didn’t worry as ??? something was ever imposing
Now I’m holding down a job that I don’t enjoy
And all the clouds are friends and they’re closing in
The working week’s like a dull pain
