Wide Awake

I can’t ever get to sleep
My head is spinning with
The world falling apart all around me
I close my eyes so i can breathe
But it does nothing to relieve
The stress that’s crawling up inside me
I’m wide awake, no i can’t sleep
I’m sick of having terrors in my dreams
One day we’ll wake up from these lives we lead
Into the mass delusion we all seek
I can’t sleep
