Windows of Their Eyes

see the petals
in the windows
of their eyes
staring back at me again
outside the window
rain falls
bright clouds
in my sky
finding nothing
in their faces
of their eyes
I see nothing but the stars
outside the window
stars fade
clouds covering
my sky
