Illusions in Rain

Push the tender nights aside
As emotions drift by
Many thoughts collide
Cruel ravishing strains
The heavens open wide
And the windows close tight
And the wind it sings by my side
Never a sorrow
And now the words leave
No explanation for me
How can we see
The illusions dance away
