Clarity

it’s difficult to see where you’re going
when the rains come with no warning
my eyes are all blurry
and my hands shake with fear
feels like I’m drowning
in a sea of myself
won’t someone
release me
what I’m seeing will not disappear
it won’t stop if you ask it to
you can’t think it away
cleansed or confused
