Was Not
Day turns night
Stars light up the eastern sky
God’s wonders pulls my gainsome high
I know there must be more to this old life
Something is calling me
A call to the unknown
And I’ll be not
My faith is tryed
This flesh tries to pull me down
I am weak and I fall to the ground
But soon I’ll rise up with the eastern sun
It’s by His word I’ll fight
overcome by His might
Soon I’ll be not
I am His in love
I hear Him calling from above
Well done my good and faithful son
Come live with me and rest
Your race is won
I’ve seen you from the sky
Come back to who you are
