Coma

Somewhere in the back of my head I’m alone
My heart beats but my body’s turned to stone
In my mind I can still see
A world outside that moved on without me
Alone, drifting in the unknown
I don’t know, how long I’ve been
In this coma fast asleep
Floating down into the deep
Now I’m coming round
The weeds are starting to appear through the cracks
Life begins to fight its way back
Cause it’s been 3 years since you checked out
The doors are locked and the shades are down
Now all I feel is numb inside
Alone, drifting in the unknown
I don’t know how long I’ve been
In this coma fast asleep
Floating down into the deep
Now I’m coming around
Red Light, black veins
I’m coming out of a coma
