In the Face of Death

As I fall to blackness and my eyes are forced shut,
I’m sure this is the end for me.
I think that my mind is fading, am I gonna lose control?
Am I gonna lose control? I think I’m gonna lose myself.
As my hands are tied back and my eyes are gouged out.
As I sit here helpless, I cry out for you.
‘cos all I loved is breaking in front of me,
tell me am I gonna lose myself to the darkness inside my heart.
You’re screaming but I can’t hear you.
