Do you know what it’s like
To be so close to being alright
And then it’s ripped
Out of your hands
When you cannot supply their demand
So sit alone
Playing guitar
Sing your words into the dark
Once your eyes finally adjust
You might just relies where you are
Is it enough to make you not care?
Is it enough to make you swear?
That you’ll never go there again
You’ll never show your face to friends again
And so you lose the will to fight
And you lose track of the sleepless nights
Is salvation in that glass?
