Schoolgirl

She was a schoolgirl with seven GCE’s
and one ambition was to collect degrees
But in the library researching English litt,
she met a student who took her mind of it
She was attracted by his smiling eyes
he said he loves her but he was telling lies
He talked of subjects of which he never heard
but when she learned them he quickly disappeared
All is new to love you
All is new to know in a way of love
In a way of love
Her heart was broken and she won no degrees
She’s now redundant a victim of the sleaze
This is the lesson for which one has to pay
It is in no textbook and nobody no play
