OVERDOSE
My shredded veins can’t take no more,
There’s tons of pills all over the floor.
I’ll try anything one or twice,
To keep my life from being a bore.
I woke up this morning,
Throat was burning,
I had this pain inside my head.
I took some pills, took one too many,
I guess I’m lucky that I’m not dead.
Overdose
I went into overdrive, you tried,
To kill me, take my life.
Loving you just wasted time, you tried,
To fool me by living a lie.
I’ve tried to clean up my act,
Irony of it all is that.
Took the pills to get some excitement,
In actual fact, they gave no enlightenment.
