Rainbow

Violet, indigo, blue and green
Each rainbow is the prettiest I have ever seen!
Yellow, orange, and lastly red —
Those colours dance across the sky, and sparkle overhead!
Violet colours flowery trees
The colourful lavender calls to the bees
Violet glows with a special kind of light
Anything violet gives me delight!
Indigo next, it’s dark and deep
It’s like the night sky when you’re going to sleep
Indigo colours the deep blue sea
Indigo’s a special colour to me!
Blue is bright like the holiday sky
Fluffy whit clouds go easing on by
Painting the heavns and the blueberry tree
Blue will always be the colour for me!

Fields of barley that stretch for a mile
