It’s hard to pinpoint how I got here cause the loser now will later win
I keep saying this to myself
Sitting down at a taco stand with a peso in my hand
How did it all come to this
So I blew all the money they gave to me

They always said I didn’t understand but I think they knew better than that
They just blamed it on my recklessness
When they were both suddenly taken away
I was filled with an unreconsiled pain
Cause I’d never made them proud of who I am
So I blew all the money they gave to me

So I’m taking all the money left in the bank and spending it my way
Soaking up the sun on my Mexican get away
In the cantina’s they all know my name
As I spread my love to the women in vain
And I couldn’t be happier living in misery
